An artistic collective is bringing music, the spoken word, comedy and other forms of artistic expression to the Mezzanine Performance Gallery and Café in downtown Lynchburg.

Jere Real’s taught at the college level, written liner notes for a record company, and worked at newspapers, where he picked up a camera. Pictures he took years ago of boxers now hang on the walls of a local gallery.
