Summer Exposure comes to CVCC’s Merritt Hall

The Blue Ridge Photographic Arts Society’s annual Summer Exposure exhibit opened last week at Central Virginia Community College’s Merritt Hall, and an opening reception is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
All of the work in the exhibit, which uses both digital and traditional photography, comes from members of the society, an arts organization whose mission it to advance photographic skills and understanding and to promote photography in Central Virginia.
Subject matter in the exhibit includes abstracts, colorful digital manipulation, summer scenes and introspective black and white studies that suggest mystery and mood.
