SYNOPSIS: This comedy being staged by Little Town Players first premiered on Broadway in 1944. It tells the story of Elwood P. Dowd, an eccentric — to say the least — guy who befriends a 6-foot-3 rabbit named Harvey that only he can see. Wherever he goes, he brings an extra hat and coat for Harvey, and he buys theater and railroad tickets in twos so they can go everywhere together. It all reaches a boiling point when he starts introducing Harvey to guests at society parties, which absolutely mortifies his sister, Vata. She decides to commit him to a sanitarium, but things go wrong and she is accidentally committed instead. Chaos ensues from there.

SYNOPSIS: Holy Cross’ elementary and middle school drama club is presenting this classic tale, about songwriter Albert, who finds himself in trouble when rock star Conrad Birdie is drafted into the army. Albert’s assistant/girlfriend Rose comes up with a last-ditch publicity stunt: Conrad will sing Albert’s new song, “One Last Kiss,” on “The Ed Sullivan Show,” and afterward, he’ll kiss one lucky girl from his fan club. The chosen gal is Kim MacAfee from Sweet Apple, Ohio, so the trio of Conrad, Albert and Rose head there to prepare for the event. But as the concert draws near, Kim’s dad becomes obsessed about being on “The Ed Sullivan Show,” and Kim’s boyfriend gets more and more jealous of Conrad. Meanwhile, Conrad just becomes tired of show business in general.
