SYNOPSIS: The first commercial and critical success of playwright Tennessee Williams’ career, “Menagerie” is a memory play based on the recollections of main character Tom. His father left the family not long ago, and his mother, Amanda, is stuck in an idealized past. She’s also obsessed with finding a suitor for Tom’s sister Laura, who spends most of her time with her glass collection and victrola, far from the real world. Everything comes to a head when Tom announces plans to bring his friend Jim home for dinner one night, and Amanda’s hopes for the future seem to be within reach.’

SYNOPSIS: This new adaptation of the Civil War spy story is based on William Gillette’s 1896 classic melodrama. The Yankees are closing in on Richmond, and Benton Arrelsford of the Confederate Secret Service is out to catch a spy. Suspects include Captain Thorne, a decorated war hero; Martha, the beloved ladies maid to Miss Edith Varney; and Caroline Mitford, who has promised to help a Confederate soldier in any way she can.
