SYNOPSIS: Based on the 1978 cult novel by Edward Swift, the musical revolves around what happens when Miss Jessica Getwood, a newcomer and lady of Victorian dress, captivates a small Texas town called Splendora. The only person suspicious of Jessica is Sue Ella Lightfoot, who eventually discovers that Jessica is actually Timothy John Coldridge, a young man who ran away from town 15 years earlier.

SYNOPSIS: Charlie needs to get away from his dull life. So when he goes to stay at a backwoods Georgia fishing lodge, his friend Froggy tells occupants that Charlie can’t understand English. Before long, Charlie knows everyone’s secrets, which are freely discussed in front of him because of his “foreigner” status.
