SYNOPSIS: The Broadway musical portrays the parables of Jesus through light-hearted song and dance, as well as clowning, charades, pantomime and acrobatics, couched in a message of kindness, tolerance and love. Based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, ‘Godspell’ features many well-loved songs, like ‘Day By Day’ and ‘Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord.’

SYNOPSIS: The story is set in New York City during the late 1920s and centers on Nathan Detroit, who leads the oldest permanent floating crap game in the city. While Nathan is searching for another spot to hold his crap games, suave high roller Sky Masterson comes to town. The two men make a bet that Sky has to get a date with a lady of Nathan’s choosing, and he chooses the kindhearted Sarah, leader of a Save-A-Soul Mission.
