“10,000 B.C.” — This epic, set in prehistoric times, follows a young mammoth hunter, D’Leh (Steven Strait), who leads a group of hunters against warloads to the end of the known world — all to save a girl. (PG-13)
“Leatherheads” — WWI has ended and football hero Dodge Connolly (George Clooney) hopes to revive his struggling football team with the addition of college football star and war hero, Carter Rutherford (John Krasinski). The opposition they face includes cub journalist Lexie Littleton (Renee Zellweger). (PG-13)
“The Ruins” Four friends on holiday in Mexico go with another tourist to try to find his brother, who was last seen near some mysterious ruins. (R)
“Stop Loss” — The documentary by Kimberly Peirce explores what happens when a decorated soldier returns from Iraq home to Texas to resume his life. A “stop loss” order comes, ordering him back to Iraq, upending his life again. (R)
“Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” — A single mom in Chicago is struggling to make ends meet when she gets a letter informing her of the death of her father — whom she never met. She takes her family to the funeral in Georgia, where she meets the family she never knew and meets a man. (PG-13)

“Alvin and the Chipmunks” — The antics of a musical group of chipmunks revolves around the interaction between Alvin, Simon and Theodore, and songwriter David Seville, turning his life upside down. (PG)
“The Eye” — Sydney (Jessica Alba), a violinist who has been blind since childhood, gets more vision than she ever imagined with a corneal transplant. As she discovers colors and she shapes, she also sees horrifying visions that make others question her sanity. She becomes convinced she must find out more about her transplant donor. (R)
“First Sunday” — When best friends and petty criminals Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Tracy Morgan) decide to rob a church — all to get $17,000 so he can keep his ex-girlfriend from taking his child out of state — they find someone had the idea first.  (PG-13)
“Juno” — Juno (Ellen Page), a Midwestern high schooler, and her best friend, Leah (Olivia Thirlby), browse through the Pennysaver to find adoptive parents for Juno’s baby, the result of an unplanned pregnancy. They settle on Mark and Vanessa (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner), who seem to be the perfect couple. (PG-13)
“National Treasure: Book of Secrets”— Treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) wants to know if there’s more behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. He follows clues, including one that involves his great-grandfather, to Buckingham Palace, the White House and Mount Rushmore. (PG)
“Never Back Down” — Jake Tyler (Sean Faris) moves with his family to Florida, where he’s the new kid in town. After a fight with a bully, Jake learns mixed martial arts to settle the score, but learns much more. (PG-13)
“Penelope” — For Penelope Wilhern (Christina Ricci), the daughter of wealthy socialites, to break the family curse, she must find true love — but only with “one of her own kind.” Penelope ventures out on her own to find out what that really means. (PG)
“The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie” — It’s back to the animated world of Jonah — A VeggieTales Movie, where this time, three misfit veggies, Elliot (Larry the Cucumber), Sedgewick (Mr. Lunt) and George (Pa Grape), dream of quitting their jobs as busboys and star in a show about pirates. They end up back in the 17th century, trying to rescue the royal family. (G)
“Untraceable” — The war on cybercrime is being prosecuted by a division within the FBI, and one of its fighters is Special agent Jennifer Marsh (Diane Lane). She is on the case, chasing a predator, who murders victims live online from an untraceable Web site. The more hits the site gets, the more he kills. (R)
“Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins” — Talk show host (Martin Lawrence) leaves Los Angeles for his roots — the ones he has tried to deny — in the Deep South, where he hopes to impress everyone with his success. (PG-13)
“Witless Protection” — Sheriff Larry Stalder (Larry the Cable Guy) mistakenly moves to protect the lovely socialite Madeleine (Ivana Milicevic), from what he believes is a kidnapping, putting him in the middle of a high-stakes FBI case. The mistmatched pair end up on a mission in which they must face angry FBI agents, quack doctors and Chicago high society. (PG-13)

“College Road Trip” — Melanie (Raven-Symone) sets out on what she wanted to be a girls’-only road trip to check out prospective colleges. Her police chief dad decides to escort the girls, which is not what they had in mind. (G)
“Horton Hears a Who” — Based on the Dr. Seuss book about Horton the elephant, who hears a cry for help from a speck of dust where the tiny Whos in Whoville live. He can’t see them, but he decides to help, even though everyone else thinks he’s lost his mind. (G)
“Nim’s Island” Nim (Abigail Breslin) lives on an island with her scientist father, (Gerard Butler) and where she has real-life adventures as well as vicarious ones through the books about Alex Rover. When Nim’s father is lost at sea, she sends a letter asking for Alex’s help. Alex’s creator, Alexandra (Jodie Foster) is an agoraphobic who never leaves her house. (PG)
“Superhero Movie” — The guys who made the “Scary Movie” franchise put their superpowers to work to spoof the superhero movie. This movie’s hero is Rick Riker (Drake Bell), a high school loser who gets his superpowers after being bitten by a genetically altered dragonfly. To reach his destiny, The Dragonfly must confront the evil Lou Landers (Christopher McDonald), who is on a quest for immortality (PG-13)
“Vantage Point” — The different vantage points of eight people result in different understandings of an assasination attempt on President Ashton (William Hurt). Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker) videotaped the event, and he believes he has a picture of the man who shot the president. (PG-13) J
